New Wave Requiem
Tristan's a Daeva's Daeva, socially savvy and involved in a number of avant garde art scenes.
Tristan’s old and well-connecfted, but surprisingly high on humanity. She’s a Daeva’s Daeva, socially savvy and involved in a number of avant garde art scenes. She was an ardent fan of Hannah’s work, to the point of obsession. That’s why, when Hannah committed suicide, Tristan embraced her. It was costly for her, not having received pemission beforehand. Hannah’s been a royal pain in the ass, between her tantrums, her resistance to playing along with all the social nicities and her unwillingness to join the Invictus. Tristan’s very invested, which just spurs the initial obsession. Hannah’s compromised some of her power, so Tristan’s all the more intent to make sure that Hannah shapes up and flies right. Tristan won’t release her to be someone else’s tenant is because they wouldn’t put up with her, and her precious childe could be destroyed. Tristan’s one part obsessive parent, one part enabler, and one part pageant parent. Tristan was disappointed when Hannah manifested the clan’s propensity for physical violence, instead of mirroring her own advanced understanding of Majesty. She was heartbroken when Hannah showed more aptitude to spend time in concert venues and dive bars than in the galleries. She was agonized when Hannah would come limping back, moments before sunrise, her finery blood-spattered and her body often in tatters.
